Trouser Description

Performance high visibility chainsaw protection for professional forestry and arb work.

Incorporating a multi-layered chainsaw shield system with Dyneema for ultimate protection, the Breatheflex range uses the lightest chainsaw stalling system available, to reduce fatigue.

The trousers outer shells are made from Climasphere breathable fabrics which are also highly abrasion and snag resistant (a must for tree climbers) and the six-way stretch feature makes for the most comfortable forestry chainsaw pants on the market.

The ATHV4050 is a Type C trouser (saw protection 360 degrees around the leg) and the protection is rated to Class 1 (20 m/s).

The trouser has also been Certified to EN ISO 20471 and GO/RT 3279, which makes it suitable for rail work. (N.B some authorities do specify Class 2, in which case please choose the ATHV4040)

Jacket description

Comfortable and hardworking jacket in Hi Vis Orange, certified to GORT 32/79 for rail work.

The ATHV4000 forest and arb jacket has all teh same features of the standard Breatheflex jacket range,with teh addition of the flexible reflective day-glo stripes, which mean that teh jacket also conforms to EN ISO 20471 Class 2*.

Two large side pockets with zip closure, and a large zippered rear pocket can be found on the outside of the jacket, and inside there is a large pocket to hold and arborist first aid kit and there are two further chest pockets (left and right) suitable for a mobile phone.

 The sleeves are fully removable (by means of zipper at the shoulder)* and feature velcro fastening cuffs for a snug fit around climbing or chainsaw gloves. With the removable sleeves this forest and arb jacket can be worn as a traditional jacket, or body warmer.

 Please note: This garment has no chainsaw protection in the standard version, but we do offer chainsaw protective sleeves, which can be purchased separately and zipped on instead of the standard sleeves. Please contact us for details.
